Presentation of the Incubator “ Jujube”

Le Jujube is an incubation and innovation support structure dedicated to promoting green entrepreneurship. It operates under the Environmental Research Center (CRE) in Annaba, Algeria. As part of the national strategy for fostering startups and the knowledge economy, Le Jujube plays a vital role in transforming scientific research results into innovative, market-ready solutions addressing key environmental and societal challenges. Recognized for its excellence and commitment, Le Jujube officially obtained the national “Incubator” Label on May 8th, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Knowledge, Startups, and Microenterprises — a distinction that consolidates its position as a credible and high-impact player in Algeria’s innovation ecosystem.

Our Infrastructure

- A co-working space with high-speed internet (50 Mbps), printers, computers, individual desks, collaborative areas, and a relaxation zone.
- A training room equipped with a data projector and modern teaching tools.
- A meeting room for coaching sessions, mentoring, and partnership discussions.
- A prototyping room and 16 specialized laboratories equipped with advanced scientific instruments, all accessible to project holders.

Inside 2

In a remarkable atmosphere, the Environmental Research Center hosted on October 15, 2025, the second edition of the National Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Structures — INSIDE 2025.

Black Box

The Black Box Hackathon, organized by Le Jujube and three scientific clubs from different institutions (Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Management Sciences, and Faculty of Science & Technology), brought together creative minds, developers, and innovators to tackle real-world challenges.
